This is one of the original sculptures on the Trail. The artist was inspired by the grand chimneys left over from the redundant
industries of the Victorian age, examples of which can be seen nearby around High Wycombe. Using the organic materials of forest debris,
hundreds of individual bricks have been formed by hand to make the chimney. The industrial combined with the rural, reminds us of this frequent
contradiction within the landscape.
