Originating from a rough block of granite, this piece gently sinks into its underlying soft ground. The simplicity of the form and its contrasting surfaces evoke a tactile response. Designed to exist and change with its environment, the piece's rugged exterior supports the growth of moss and lichen and its carved rim frequently collects rainwater.
