These encapsulated drawings, reminiscent of police or local authority signs,
allude to urbanised notions and experience of so-called ‘natural’ environments.
They appear as warnings or instructions, reflecting the potential for the woods to
be an alien and unfamiliar environment, invoking both psychological and physical risks,
and which formally explore the sculptural possibilities of drawing.
