Jonathan Griffin has built a platform which, when used by the visitor, offers a clear and unbroken view of the fields beyond Cowleaze Wood. The intention of the piece is to simultaneously create the sensations of tallness and vulnerability, which are often similar to those felt when surveying expanses of space in the landscape.
