Wheelchair and pushchair access is very good on the majority of woodland paths as there are no gates, steps, stiles or steep inclines. However
some trails can become rutted, especially after wet weather. If it has been raining caution is advised as some paths are unsurfaced and you may find
them slippery. Read more about the Chiltern Sculpture Trail on the background pages.

Close to the Trail are the
Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve
and the ancient Ridgeway path
which runs from Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire to Overton Hill near Avebury in Wiltshire,
via many historic landmarks including the Uffington White Horse and Wayland's Smithy.
The nearest Railway station is at Saunderton, approx. 8 miles northeast of the Trail.
