It is located in Cowleaze Wood beside the road from the A40 to Christmas Common, approx. 2 miles from them both. ACCESS & FACILITIES: The Trail is open 365 days a year during daylight hours. Entrance is free, but access is usually limited to vehicles under 6ft 6" in height. There is limited parking space for over-height vehicles and ample free parking space for around 60 cars. Picnic seating is available near the Trail Information Point but there are no toilets on site. Wheelchair and pushchair access is very good on the majority of woodland paths as there are no stiles or steep inclines. However, rain can cause some unsurfaced paths to become rutted or slippery, so caution is advised in wet weather.
